Ten chelates of Nickel (II) with different polyaminocarboxylic acids which were successful in removing nickel from body organs (in vivo) and from their sub-cellular fractions (in vitro) of experi menta lly poi soned rats,. were prepa red and cha ra teri sed. Thei r structure has been i nvesti gated on the bas is of infra red spectra 1 and magneti c moment data. The experimental data suggest that all the complexes are tetra-co-ordinated with sp3 hybridization having tetrahedral geometry. read more

The formation, composition and stability constants of palladium (II)chelates with 4-(2-pyridylazo)-resorcinol have been studied by spectrophotometric measurements. Two red coloured chelates 1:1 and 3:2 (Pd: PAR) are formed at pH 4.0 and 10.5 with maxs. 490 nm and 520 nm and their log K values are found to be 4.9 and 21.7 respectively.read more

The present work deals with the study of electrical conductivity of the system(AgP03)1 -(AgF) in the range 0.2~x~0.9 mole fraction by -x x method of comp 1 ex impedance. Conduct i vity 'measurements were carri ed out between 70·C & 240·C. We observed a large increase of conductivity due to the doping effect by AgF. A maximum conductivity appears at X=0.8 mole fraction corresponding to a minimum activation energy(E =0.548 ev). Similar behaviour of maximum conductivity corresponding to a minimum activation energy has been observed in other solid electrolytes based on Agl [1,2,7,12,13]. read more
